Tierny Clark award – 2010

In 2000, the Institution of Civil Engineers (United Kingdom), the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers and the Association of Hungarian Consulting Engineers and Architects established the Tierney Clark award for recognising feats of engineering. Entries for this award, named after the English designer of the Chain Bridge, could be submitted for any engineered facility or a well-defined part of such realised in Hungary. In 2010, the first recipients of the award were Uvaterv, Ferrobeton Zrt. and the Bridges and Structures Faculty of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics for developing the bridge beam marked "FI-150/44.80" using high-strength concrete.

Innovation Award of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office – 2010

In connection with the development of high-strength concrete (in collaboration with the Bridges and Structures Faculty of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics) Ferrobeton Zrt. carried out a significant expansion of its production capacity through its own investment. In order to enable the production of especially large bridge beams, the company also launched specific production development in conjunction with UVATERV Zrt. and the Bridges and Structures Faculty of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. In 2006, Ferrobeton Zrt. received the official permit (number of the Building Technical Approval: 45/2006) for the use of its FI 150/16.80-44.80 bridge beam family, which offers a real alternative to bridge structures that are "pushed in". In 2010, the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office recognised this development with its Innovation award.

Grand Prize of the Construma Construction Industry Professional Fair - 1998

In 1997, the company began the installation of a world-class long-bench production line for pre-stressed, extruded floor planks. This technology – long-awaited by the industry – received the grand prize at the 1998 Construma Construction Industry Professional Fair.

IIASA-SHIBA award – 1991 and 1992

Our company was the first to receive ISO 9001/EN 2 9001 certification in the construction industry, in 1992. For the implementation and operation of a quality control system based on facts, we were twice recognised with the Shiba award, established by professor Iiasa-Shiba.
